Job Title: Route Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lift Service Engineer to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Lifts / elevators. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong customer service skills to ensure the safe and smooth functioning of lift systems.

Location: CHENNAI, BANGALORE, TRICHY AND HYDERABAD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance of lifts/elevators as per
  • Diagnose and repair faults in lifts, escalators, and related
  • Respond to breakdown calls and ensure quick restoration of
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with statutory and company
  • Replace defective parts, wiring, and mechanical components when
  • Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new lift
  • Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and breakdown
  • Liaise with customers, building managers, and internal teams to ensure
  • Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.1–3 years of experience in lift/elevator servicing (freshers with technical knowledge may also be considered).
  • Good knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving .(Specifically in Johnson / Kone / OTIS / Schindler makes)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and attend emergency breakdown
  • Good communication and customer-handling (In English and Local language)

This role focuses on building strong relationships with existing clients and generating new opportunities by identifying elevators that require upgrades, safety improvements, or service contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for AMCs, repair packages, and modernisation
  • Meet housing societies, facility managers, corporates, hospitals, malls, and
  • Conduct site inspections to assess elevators requiring modernisation or
  • Present proposals and explain benefits of AMC/modernisation to decision-
